Wish everyone explained shit this way your helping us gals who’ need it shown and explained without all the blah blah .. keep them up .. ps my hubby isn’t so handy with some things and Thanks to you I look so handy lol ..
Thank you so much for this, it literally made me LOL 😄. Glad it helped!
Why does the battery stay in the device even though it is plugged in?
Technically, it is no longer needed if it is hardwired, like in my case. But the good news is that it is kept at 100%, and in the event of a power outage, it can keep running without skipping a beat :). Hope this helps!
Do I need a special drill head for the pilate holes on the stucco?
I just used a standard drill bit, but a masonry bit would work even better.
@JamesFixItwhat size drill bit did you use for the pilot holes
Thank you for sharing. Nice job!
does it work with your existing chime?
Yes, I previously had it wired to my existing chime, but ended up disconnecting it, as we have the homebase, Amazon echo, plus all of our phones as multiple alerts 🔔
Thanks for sharing buddy 🙂
Hey! You’re welcome! 🤗
Great video I’m late to the ring doorbell game but I’m here now. Thanks
All good, better late than never! 🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽
Do i need to turn off power to the doorbell?
No, you can do the install just fine with the power left on.
Good video thank you !!!
Thank you too!
What type of wall is this? Which drill I should use?
The wall is an exterior wall, covered in stucco. Tougher to drill through than wood, but with a bit of patience, it wasn’t too bad.
Im reading i need a transformer to install? Is there a way to check if i need one or not?
Thank you!
Our ring didn’t come with a drill bit, anyone know what size it’s suppose to be?
Thank you 😊
Welcome! 🙏🏽
