  1. I have an existing Nest Doorbell with a power supply, no chime. Do I need the chime attached to the power supply?

  2. The home app keeps scanning for near by device and never found the door bell. No where to pu the QR code.

  3. This is great, except it doesn’t include the part where the Google Home app resets and you start back at square 1. I had to rescan the QR code 3 times because the app kept going back to the beginning.

  4. The “chime connector puck” is not optional to install. Don’t be like me and not install it. A few days after installing my doorbell, the doorbell chime box started making an awful buzzing noise. After attaching the puck to my chime box, the noise went away. I’m assuming the puck is actually a resistor. They should probably call it that instead if so, lol

  5. I follow the exact instruction but the chime doesn’t sound when the doorbell rings, what should I do?

  6. Why are there no useful links in the description? It says go to a URL to check compatibility… Why is this url not in the description??? Oh because that would have required the tiniest bit of forethought.

  7. 2:03 “Everything you need for installation is included in the box. You may also need….” SMH.. AND it didn’t come with any of the lead wires, screws, anchors, all the other stuff it says it comes with. What a ripoff

    1. You think it’s going to come with a drill and hammer? Haha

It does come with screws, anchors, wire leads. You probably just threw them away because you didn’t take the box apart.

  8. I lost the screw that holds the door bell to the frame.
Any idea what’s the specification of the screws?

  9. I have an iPhone 7, so I can’t use one of these doorbells. It requires ios 16.1 or higher.

    1. Hello! We understand you’ve already checked the information, and it is correct. To ensure the best experience and development of the Google Home app for setting up, managing, and controlling your smart home devices, an iOS version of 16.1 or later is needed. 10. Does not work with the current version of the Google Home app. Where do I find instructions to add this to Google Home version 3.32.104?

  11. What’s the point of the chime puck? I currently have a wired Arlo doorbell camera and it has no such thing and works fine. I believe I have a mechanical chime.

  12. How hard would it be to include #@&$ing printed instructions in the #&$@ box!
Plus my box was missing the piece they call the “wire connector”!
