It’s not ideal. But based on where the wiring was, I had little choice.

How to connect it to an Android device.
Please can you answer me.
I have an iPhone. But Ring has an app you download to work with the doorbell. You should be able to download the app for Android.
@AbbottsAtHome This is how it appeared to me when I started to connect it, knowing that it was connected about 3 years ago… This device is registered to someone else. At your request, we can check to see if it can be passed on to you.

I did this same thing but the door bell chime inside the house is humming and it won’t chime , wires seem to be hooked up right too
I would check with Ring support. I think they have a phone number and/or chat. That’s the safest option. 🙂
