If anyone agrees that Superman is boring, I think it’s worth reading Grant Morrison’s non-fiction book Supergods. You may still think he’s boring afterwards, but you’ll understand the importance of the character to society. Not speaking of his importance to comic books and the medium, but what his “boring” nature meant in the world in which he was created.
