What about keratosis pilaris, I hate having it and it can cause infections/inflammation…..any advice?
@stuthhamster I have a whole video on it. But it’s basically little keratin plugs in the hair follicle. Moisturizers that exfoliate are best: CeraVe SA, Amlactin, or Cetaphil Rough and Bumpy are my top 3.
I would like to ask something, I’m 16 and I’ve been getting red marks even if I scratch a little since I was 13, is there any way to make this condition go away?
your skin…your face….its glowing….
You are such a great doctor, I loved this Q&A, thanks! 🥰
yeah but if you don’t pop the pimple, the skin gets more and more sensitive and forms whiteheads that pop while you’re doing something like washing your face.
Best thing to do imo (as it works for me), is to moisturize your skin with keffir. This way, the “mature” pimples are sooo easy to pop. Of course, is important to not force “inmature” primples, if it doesn’t get out with gentle pressure, then you shouldn’t be forcing it.
My late husband died of penile cancer. It is rare, but it can happen.
Can he have another one but a black/brown dermatologist ??
Guys… about Acutane/Isotretinoin, there’s a protocol of suplementing Vit D and B12 in order to mitigate isotretinoin side effects.
Also, and most importantly: this compound exists as cream! So… no systemic side effects! — Highly recommended, go for it.
Germs are only part of what causes acne, but there’s more you can do to protect your face than just washing it. The biggest is “stop touching your face”. Seriously, STOP touching your face if you have not recently washed both your hands AND your face. Otherwise you’re just smearing around germs and oils. This includes resting your chin on your hand!! The second is change your pillowcase frequently. At least once or twice a week frequently.
Why is he so shiny?
Misinformation about HPV:
The types that cause warts are not the types that cause cancer.
While annoying, HPV warts are not harmful. And the virus is so ubiquitous because people can have the tiniest warts and not even know. They can even be in unexpected places like under your finger nail. So the only thing to keep you safer is the vaccine. Condoms can also help, but some skin is still exposed.
In conclusion, don’t go to the beach.
It’s the weirdest thing. My wife pops a pimple and it swells up, scabs over, discolors, stays visible for days, yet mine just don’t do that when I pop them. I popped one on my forehead yesterday and couldn’t even tell you where it was now
Acne on the jawline can also be due to a bacteria or kidney issues (including dehydration). Why didn’t you also include that info in the video?
what’s the best thing to use tho if you can’t use sunscreen?
9:30 the grape and shoe analogies were amazing 😂😂😂
I thought the types of HPV that caused warts were different than those who cause cancers.
The 14 most cancer-causing HPV types include types 16, 18, 31, 33, 35, 39, 45, 51, 52, 56, 58, 59, 66 and 68.
Low-risk HPV (lrHPV) – HPV 6 and HPV 11 cause approximately 90% of genital warts and are rarely associated with pre-cancer or cancer of the lower genital tract.
Is that boto? The thing that makes him look creepy.
This guys strips of no hair on his beard are so odd
Bro looks like if Zohran Mamdani had a brother
Finally a health professional that doesn’t just say: Avoid stress, and admits is not that easy 😅
Wow his face barely moves
I stumbled across this video last week. I had a mole that met all of the criteria you mentioned for melanoma and so begrudgingly booked in with my GP to get it checked out. They removed it two days ago and it’s just come back as a confirmed melanoma! Luckily the earliest stage 😮💨 But if I hadn’t watched this, I wouldn’t have booked in, so thank you.
