Guess what? Real Estate crash in 2008 started out in Florida..
In the S.F Bay Area. I own Apartments in the east Bay and recently had a vacancy. We had 8 applicants. We raised our pricing from 2200 to 2600 for a 2 bedroom. Of those 8 applicants 3 were from texas. 2 feom AZ . People are moving back into California from what we are seeing. Seeing more out of state plates as well.

We were also amazed at all the homeless people that we observed living in their cars, campers, or sleeping in tents. The prices of cars and housing are just two substantial indicators of the failure of the US economy. Many people that we talked to were not nearly alarmed as my wife and I.
