There is not such thing like free market. Market is always controlled by someone or some organization.
Either it’s controlled by a government that is at least somewhat democratic, or it’s controlled by corporations acting 100% in self interest. Unless you are one of said mega corporations, I’m taking the government.
The market is like a river with the government setting clear edges and boundaries, but what happens between them is up to society.

In North Korea government in form of Kim Jong Un controlls everything. It is similar in China and Russia. Does that mean that they have democracy there?
