How I know if a founder is gonna be successful on video or not…
There are many factors, but it usually comes down in ONE thing:
PATIENCE… the ability to give it time for it to work.
Even though there’s some things (social selling bias) we can do ‘short term’ to drive business results, still they chose to be patience.
One of our clients recently told me, “I haven’t been this excited to do something like this in a long time. I’m in this for the long haul.”
He really fired me up to help build his personal brand and to help grow his business. And he’s not just saying it, he’s actively building his personal/company brand, creating video content, and involving his team.
We’ve helped him build an internal video content and social media team around it to really do this long term (It’s not just a cool new thing to try)
It’s the ACTIONS that follow that a lot of founders lack.
Like “Oh, yeah, I love doing videos, I’m gonna start doing it. I’m gonna build my personal brand”
And then when it comes time to do it. They don’t do anything.
They just love the idea… but NOT the EFFORT and work that goes into it.
