   2. Disappointed you didn’t include her as Aunt Hettie in Road to Avonlea. Everyone in Canada knew the name Maggie Smith since the 90s for that role.

4. I loved her as Professor McGonagall and the Dowager of Downton Abbey. From her interviews, I have a feeling that she would great those accolades with a polite smile. However, I would put The Prime of Miss Jean Brodie first. It was such a strong character and she handled it as if Miss Brodie had replaced her.
   Everything she was in from her earliest to her last performances were brilliant.

   Rest in heavenly peace and joy Minerva McGonagall… for that and all the other rolls you’ve given us; the joy, the tears, the laughter and the thrills.
   May you have and know your own wonderful eternal fun and games, talks and walks through beautiful parks and landscapes.. tea and friends, both human and animal, that have long since passed on that have gently waited for your time to come and spend with them again.
