The UN’s Children’s Agency has said 50 children have been killed in 48 hours in Jabalia in northern Gaza.
The city has been under intense attack for weeks, with Israel saying it is trying to prevent Hamas from regrouping.
UNICEF’s director Catherine Russell said it was another example of “the grave consequences of indiscriminate strikes on civilians”.
She added that the entire population of northern Gaza was at “imminent risk of death from disease, famine and ongoing bombardment”.

In Jabalia Hamas gained back control with more than 2,000 terrorists. The civilians who decided to stay in this combat zone did it out of fear or support for Hamas. Hamas urged them to stay so its terrorists will be more protected, surrounded by civilians. I wonder why these civilians just don’t care about their own children. In Lebanon civilians left combat zones and the number of casualties is drastically lower. I think that the population should have some responsibility for their own choices and decisions.
