Legendary fitness instructor Richard Simmons has died, according to TMZ.
Law enforcement sources told the news outlet that police responded to a call from his housekeeper before 10 a.m. on Saturday. They later pronounced him dead at the scene.
While Simmons reportedly fell in the bathroom of his home on Friday evening, no foul play is suspected at this time, the report further claims. It’s also not clear if the bathroom is where his housekeeper found him.
Simmons’ rep did not immediately respond to Page Six’s request for comment.

I feel like personally that everyone has done in the past some type of exercise with Richard Simmons 🪅 especially waking up on a Saturday in front of your television 📺📺💞💞 and sing the smile of the goofy looking guy 🍁 exercising 😊🕊️🕊️
He had the most beautiful curly hair 🍁 am I used to call him Goldilocks 😮😮
Will always remember him and how my grandmother loved him so. Would be in her little chair getting her workout on with the little outfits they wore on the VHS tape. I remember her being upset when the tape popped. Gentle soul, but not at that moment when her video tape snapped, she did too. No worries, my brother came to the rescue and fixed it. Used the clear tape to make it like new.
Said all that to say, he lived a full life that was indeed worth living. Touched so many from all over no matter their walk in this life. He was kind and made many feel beautiful and he was indeed beautiful too. Today just lost a wonderful soul and the world just became a little more darker because he’s gone now, but happy he is now free. Only have wonderful memories of him, and it shall be that way in my heart, for the remaining time I’m here in this life. Will miss you and rest in peace. Condolences to all who loved him. ❤🙏🏿

What a loss for the world. 😢 The younger generations will never know just how much this man loved helping others so much so, that he built his entire life around helping anyone in need. (I would say he built his career around that, but it wasn’t a job for him.) May Richard rest in paradise. 🏝🕊
