How did it impersonate his grandfather? How did it know his voice? Could it have th human vocal chords? It sounds as if these things have telepathic capabilities and can read and control our minds.
I don’t think they meant to leave him behind they were all scared. But I can’t believe they didn’t notice that he wasn’t in the car with them.
That desolate cabin in the woods had way too many windows and glass doors.
