Geared hub motor and going 30mph is like driving a diesel truck, gas guzzler lol
That may be fast but how does it do on a hill
38mph 2000w. Doesn’t seem like any place in USA or Canada this would be legal to use other than your private property
No shipping to Canada 🇨🇦 😢
As a South African I wish to get an ebike
I have newbie question: does most or all e-bikes have phone charging ports? Does thus wired bike have?
Some do, some don’t. I’m unsure about the Wired bikes, but I’m thinking they do not.
Liked & sub’d…Lookn’..2Buy this e-bike if someone can explain how to bypass the SPEED.Limiter….YT vids say any e-bike can be 500 watts =>…Plz comment tks !
great video, can you say what settings you have changed ? or did you leave all the settings the same as they came from new?
Do you have a direct video on how to unlock this bike step-by-step?
Actually I will be uploading that later today😁
My Wired Freedom keeps rubbing the back tire on the controller and has worn a groove in it. I have tightened up the shock quite a bit more and it’s still rubbing when I hit big bumps. Any suggestions?
My understanding is that this common problem can be solved by using the alternate shock from Wired. I’ve been told that all new orders now go out with the better shock. I would definitely contact Wired and getting it!
Citizen get another motor and controller from wired put on front plus 60v30ah 21700 50amp bms. Now that would be fast. And awsome.
Enjoying your videos immensely …lots of really great insight and info. Much appreciated! Thank you!
Quick question…
I currently have a Rad e-bike, and a Wired Freedom on the way.
My Rad ebike’s cadence sensor and controller set no speed limits for each PAS level …and I love that! I am a relatively strong rider and as such I usually only need PAS assistance levels 1, 2 or 3 when I ride, even at higher speeds. I don’t ride my bike by just throttling around, burning through the battery. I prefer to pedal, with assistance as needed. So yeah, I love the fact that I can utilize PAS 1 and 2 even at higher speeds when I want a little pedal assistance, not a lot (allowing me great range).
I’ve learned that not all cadence sensors work this way. Apparently some of them provide as much boost as the bike determines is needed by sensing the cadence speed (or in the case of a torque sensor the amount of force applied to the pedals) so as to propel the bike up to a certain speed, and then that PAS level is of no further use. Meaning, at higher speeds, you cannot use a lower level of pedal assistance even if you want to.
I hope that all makes sense.
So, my question is, do Wired e-bikes have “smart” cadence sensors that set speed limits for each PAS level? Or does the bike allow the rider to select the level of pedal assistance desired (1-5) *regardless* of speed?
I’ve been looking at this bike, the Rip Current S, the Aventon Adventure 2, and the Heybike Brawn. I have been going back and forth and not able to really make a decision, but the more I see reviews on the Wired Freedom, the more I am leaning towards getting this bike. Anyone else out there still thinking it over and comparing different brands?
I am rn, I was comparing wired freedom, raev bullet gotcha but not avail until sept, n the memo zone. All way diff I’m 6’4 225lbs N live around a lot of hills so it’s so stressful trying to figure this out as no one in my city has them so no test rides smh.
I have a Velotric Discover 1, so the obvious next step for me would be the Velotric Nomad 1 right?
That’s been my plan for months now, But after discovering the Wired Freedom’s existance I have genuinely been taking a second thought.
Everything I’ve seen of this bike is so incredible and so positive that it blows every other budget bike out of the water completely, Even the torque of the Nomad.
Honestly If you can afford it, just get the Freedom, I have never seen stock Super 73 levels of power at 2000 fucking dollars, That’s just unheard of, I am calling that this bike will and probably already has taken the internet by not just storm, but an entire fucking hurricane
Not legal or available in Canada 😢
Weeked freedom ? Is wiered freedom? Naw? ARE OUR FREEDOM IS WIERED ??? HAW YOU BEED THESE THING ,.??? Full Suspenione ???
good bike but they charging me $250 shipping in california..The store is in california..to muuch shipping charge
First of all citizen, this bike is not under $2,000 It’s 1999 plus $250 for shipping which is not mentioned on the website prominently as it should be right on the first page. And let me tell you, the employees have an attitude, the chat employee couldn’t care less about moving product or making a profit selling product and is just there to make a paycheck and the employee in the support section is busy trying to build bikes himself while running the support phone panting and out of breath. Both he and the person in the chat have an attitude problem. I mentioned the Philodo h8 and they just got upset about it. But the h8 has a 22 amp hour battery and the freedom only has a 20 amp hour battery. The h8 does not have rear suspension but it has dual 1000 W Motors with equal speed and power and a warranty which is 3 years and the freedom is only a one-year warranty. If you want cushioned rides in the rear you can buy a quality aftermarket soft cushion spring seat for $40. You have to wait for over a month or more maybe even two months for freedom ebike to be built and yet the h8 comes within 3 business days from the time that you order it. The h8 has a 5000 mile positive review on YouTube. If you look at the warranty fine print on the freedom it says that if you run it at more than 20 miles an hour it will void the warranty. The wired Bike company is based in Illinois and they act like Democrats and woke companies with social justice Warriors working there and employed there who couldn’t care less about moving product in the chat support and answer the phone in the warehouse support with attitudes are not going to help this company one bit. I predict that there will be problems with the new build on the freedom because of the previous design flaw with the tire rubbing on the component when the suspension flexes. I wouldn’t buy anything from this company and I’m probably going to get the. Philodo h8. I will say this, the freedom looks way better than the h8 but looks aren’t everything and it certainly isn’t worth $550 more. I don’t know if you have done a review on the h8 but I’m going to look and see if you did. I would like to hear your opinion on the comparison of the two but I’ve already seen a 5,000-mile positive review for the h8 so I know it’s a quality product with a quality build. I wouldn’t touch wired products or the wired company for that matter with a ten-foot pole. This company is a small operation and some people think that that’s better but smaller operations have higher prices and charge $250 for shipping, hire employees With Attitudes to deal with customers who don’t care about making a sale and generally have problems.
Very long whinge about the shipping fee
Their website claims that the warranty is void if the bike is used in speeds over than 20mph. That makes me think that the bike won’t last long. Anyone have any input on this?
And no warranty service centers.
What do you think the REAL peak of the motor is if you changed the battery and controller?
